October 1997 - Anyer Weekend Trip

In October 1997 we took a weekend trip with another family to the beachside village of Anyer.  Anyer is about 120km or a 2 hour car ride west of Jakarta on the western tip of Java.  It provides a nice break from the pollution and hustle and bustle of Jakarta.  On clear nights you can sometimes see Krakatau volcano spewing up glowing cinders.  Below are a few photos from this trip.
