In May 2000 Bill, Anette and Kimberly visited Bali with a group of friends and stayed at the The Villas Bali Hotel and Spa located in Seminyak Bali. This is an all villa resort (1,2 and 3 bedroom villas) each with their own private pool. Being that this was shortly after the onset of the Asian financial crisis tourism was down and one of the group knew the manager so we got a fantastic rate. We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa which had a huge pool, garden and covered patio. One night the group had a private BBQ at our villa where the resort provided a private check.
