Family European Vacation

In June/July 2001 we took a family vacation to visit Anette's family in Sweden. In conjunction with this trip we also visited Copenhagen, Denmark, London, England, and Amsterdam, Netherlands. Kimberly had just turned 6 years old which was a good age to see some of the sights as she knew many from your readings, particularly the London sights from her reading the "101 Dalmations". London Visit

During our 2001 Family European vacation we visited London for a few days. We did most of the touristy stuff which included visiting or seeing the below attractions. Kimberly recognized many of the sites from her reading of the "101 Dalmations" storybook which is based in London.

Amsterdam Visit

We visited Amsterdam for a few days and were joined by a few colleagues of Bill's. During our visited we visited or saw the following sites:

Canal cruise
The "Red Light" district (Bill visited briefly one evening with a friend to see the shows only)
The Flower Market
Albert Cuyp Outdoor Market
The Royal Palace
Heineken brewery tour

In addition to the above sights we enjoyed walking around the city enjoying its beautiful architecture and lively atmosphere.
