October 2001 - Yogyakarta Weekend Trip

Group photo (Sacha, Kimberly, Anette, Bill and Anthony) at one of the temples Kimberly reaching into the Buddha stupa Borobudur temple with mountains in the background Anette and Kimberly in front of Borobudur temple Ornate stone carving Yogyakarta Visit In October 2001 we took a family weekend trip to Yogyakarta in Central Java Indonesia to visit the Borobudur  temple and  Prambanan temple.  We stayed at the Hyatt Regency which in our opinion is one of the nicer hotels in this area.  This was the first visit to these temples for Bill and Kimberly but the second time Anette had been here (previously visited in 1997). Overall we had a fantastic time visiting the temples and the city of Yogyakarta.
