 In June 2002 we visited family in Cleveland, Ohio USA. During this trip we visited the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo with Bill's brother Dave and his family. This zoo was always one of my favorite places to visit growing up. Although not the world's largest or most diverse zoo it is well maintained and has many interesting exhibits. During this visit Kimberly got a chance to visit with her cousins, Lauren, Katelyn and Rebecca which she had not seen since the Deertz Family reunion in 2000 held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. During this visit we also had the opportunity to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum. We were really impressed by the quality and breadth of the exhibits at the museum. We only had half a day for this museum visit so we were fairly rushed. I would have liked to have taken more time to view the exhibits as to do it justice you probably need at least a full day and even two days would be better. On our next visit to Cleveland we intend to visit the museum again and take more time.
After visiting family in Cleveland we headed south to Orlando, Florida to visit Walt Disney World and Tampa, Florida to visit Busch Gardens. Below are a few photos from this trip. |
