Our Christmas Holiday in Bali

We spent Christmas 2007 in Bali. In addition to spending quality family time together Bill and Kimberly had an opportunity to scuba dive together and Bill played several rounds of golf at the Nirwana Golf resort. It rained quite a bit during this trip but everyone still had a fantastic time.

Where we stayed?

We spent the first half of our holiday at the Bali Grand Hyatt hotel in Nusa Dua (see photo to the left). We had stayed at this resort before, however, it is not one of our favorite resorts given its large size. Despite this fact we enjoyed our stay tremendously.

We spent the second half of our holiday at the Le Meridien Nirwana Golf and Spa Resort. We had stayed at this resort previously but during this trip we rented one of the private villas which included an outdoor covered pavilion (see photo to the left) and a private plunge pool. It was well worth the extra cost for the privacy and quietness that we enjoyed while staying in the villas. We hope to return soon and stay in the villas again.
