Our Rome Italy Visit
In November 2007 Bill and Anette had the opportunity to visit Rome Italy (unfortunately Kimberly needed to stay behind in Jakarta due to school). This trip was in conjunction with Bill's attendance at a conference for his work. Our first two nights in town we stayed at the Westin Excelsior which was a beautiful hotel centrally located in the city. Afterwards we moved to the Rome Cavalieri Hilton hotel since this was the hotel Bill's conference was being held at. The Cavalieri Hilton was up on top of a hill overlooking the city. The Cavalieri was a nice hotel but wasn't as centrally located as the Westin Excelsior.

What we saw?
Although Bill had a busy week of meetings we still had time to do some sightseeing. In addition, during our stay Anette's parents Lief and Elsie flew down from Sweden to visit for a couple of days. During our stay we had the opportunity to visit the following sights:
In addition to seeing the above sights we really enjoyed just walking around the city. We experienced many good restaurants with fantastic food and wine. We hope to return again soon.
