Helsinki Port of Call

Our 2nd port of call was Helsinki Finland.  We arrived in Helsinki in the morning about 10am and needed to be back onboard by 6pm so similar to Stockholm we didn't have long to sightsee.  We didn't take an organized tour instead opting to sightsee on our own.  We walked into town which was a leisurely 30 minute walk.  Beside just strolling through the city we visited the following sites:

  • The Stone Church
  • The Lutheran Cathedral (some the outside only)
  • The local market selling all kinds of Finnish handicrafts, foods, etc.

We all had a good time visiting Helsinki and hope to return again soon.
