 Our Istanbul Turkey Visit |
|
 In November 2010 Bill and Anette had the opportunity to visit Istanbul Turkey (unfortunately Kimberly needed to stay behind in Jakarta due to school). This trip was in conjunction with Bill's attendance at a conference for his work. We have a few days before the conference to do some sightseeing and a few days afterwards. We stayed at the Conrad Hotel which had a nice view of the Bosphorus river from the top level patio bar.

What we saw? | Although Bill had a busy week of meetings we still had time to do some sightseeing. During our stay we had the opportunity to see and visit the following sights:
In addition to seeing the above sights we really enjoyed just walking around the city. We experienced many good restaurants with fantastic food and wine. During our stay everyone we encountered were friendly and helpful other than a few bad experiences with the local taxis. We hope to return again soon. |
